Ingredients
For 1 serving
- 2 oz black cherry juice
- 1.25 oz vodka
- 0.5 oz vanilla syrup
- 0.25 oz lemon juice
- 2–3 oz soda water
- Ice

Garnish: fresh or frozen cherries + lemon twist
Vanilla Syrup: Sugar: Water = 1:1, add ½ vanilla pod or ½ tsp vanilla extract, heat on low until dissolved, then cool.
Tools Needed
- Cocktail shaker
- Jigger
- Fine strainer
- Bar spoon
- Wine glass

Instructions
1️⃣ Shake — 10 sec
Add in Shacker:
- Black cherry juice
- Vodka
- Vanilla syrup
- Lemon juice
- Ice
Shake gently until completely chilled.
2️⃣ Strain — 5 sec
Strain into a glass filled with fresh ice.
3️⃣ Top — 3 sec
Add soda water and stir gently.
4️⃣ Garnish — 5 sec
Add a few cherries and garnish with a squeeze of lemon zest.

Tips & Notes
- Black cherry has a deeper, more mature flavor than regular sweet cherries, making it suitable for autumn and winter.
- If you prefer it less sweet, reduce the vanilla syrup to 0.25 oz.
- For a more dessert-like flavor, add 1 drop of almond extract.
- Alcohol-free version: Omit the vodka and use only cherry juice and soda.
