Gin Pineapple Sour

Ingredients

  • 2 oz (60 ml) gin

  • 1 oz (30 ml) fresh pineapple juice

  • 0.75 oz (22 ml) fresh lemon juice

  • 0.5 oz (15 ml) simple syrup

  • Ice cubes

  • Pineapple slice (garnish)

  • Lemon twist (garnish)


Steps

  1. Prepare the shaker (10s): Add gin, fresh pineapple juice, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker.

     

  2. Shake (15s): Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.

  3. Strain (10s): Strain into a mug.

     

  4. Garnish (10s): Garnish with a fresh pineapple slice or other item you like.


Notes & Tips

  • Fresh pineapple juice is key for that bright, tropical flavor — choose unsweetened juice or adjust the sweetness as needed to avoid an overly sweet taste.

  • If you prefer a sweeter drink, adjust the simple syrup to taste.

  • If you like a bit of foam, add egg white (about 0.5 oz) to the shaker for a silky texture.
