Pomegranate Margarita

Ingredients

  • 2 oz tequila (blanco)

  • 1 oz pomegranate juice (fresh preferred)

  • 0.5 oz triple sec (orange liqueur)

  • 0.75 oz lime juice

  • 0.25 oz simple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

  • Ice cubes

  • Salt & pomegranate seeds (for garnish)


Steps

1️⃣ Prepare glass (20s): Rim a rocks glass with lime and dip in salt.


2️⃣ Mix (40s): In a shaker, combine tequila, pomegranate juice, triple sec, lime juice, and simple syrup with ice.


3️⃣ Shake & serve (30s): Shake until chilled, then strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice. Garnish with pomegranate seeds.


Notes

  • Always use fresh pomegranate juice for a brighter, more natural flavor.

  • Balance sweetness: adjust with simple syrup depending on the tartness of your pomegranate.

  • Tequila blanco works best for a crisp profile, but reposado adds depth.
