Roasted Apricot Honey Brandy Smash

Ingredients

  • 2 oz brandy
  • 2 roasted apricot halves
  • 0.75 oz honey syrup
  • 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 2 dashes aromatic bitters
  • Garnish: dried apricot slice + thyme sprig

Instructions

1️⃣ Muddle — 30s
Add roasted apricot and honey syrup to shaker. Gently muddle.

2️⃣ Shake — 30s
Add brandy, lemon juice, bitters, and ice. Shake well.

3️⃣ Strain — 15s
Double-strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.

4️⃣ Garnish — 10s
Add dried apricot and thyme.

  1. Roasting apricots deepens flavor and reduces acidity.
  2. Brandy keeps alcohol smooth and warming.
  3. Substitute apricot jam if fresh fruit is unavailable.
  4. Reduce honey syrup for a drier finish.
