- 60 ml Bourbon
- 22 ml fresh lemon juice
- 15 ml simple syrup
- 1 ml Angostura bitters
- Ice cubes
- A piece of lemon

Hawthorne Strainer and Fine Strainer
4. Cocktail glass
Instructions
1️⃣ Dry Shake — 25 sec
Add bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup, and angostura bitters to a shaker without ice. Add ice and shake again until well chilled.
3️⃣ Strain — 15 sec
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
4️⃣ Garnish — 10 sec
Garnish with a lemon wheel or cherry.

- Use a bourbon with moderate proof for balance.
- Use fresh lemon juice, which is about the quality of bourbon sour.
- Adjust simple syrup to taste.
