All Skycorps drinkware is crafted from food-grade 18/8 stainless steel (304 grade), containing 18% chromium and 8% nickel. It is BPA-free, non-toxic, and fully compliant with international food contact safety standards.

No. High-grade 304 stainless steel is chemically inert, so it imparts no metallic taste. Many sommeliers and bartenders actually prefer steel vessels for blind tastings precisely because of this neutrality.

Etching removes material from the steel surface to create recessed patterns—the design sits below the surface, creating a tactile, shadow-depth effect. Reverse etching (also called relief etching) protects the design area while removing the surrounding surface, so the pattern stands above the background. Together, they create the signature interplay of light and shadow across our Baroque collection.

Our wine cups feature double-wall vacuum insulation, keeping cold drinks cold for up to 6 hours and warm drinks warm for up to 4 hours. Cocktail shakers are single-wall by design—this allows you to feel the temperature drop during shaking, which is an important cue for proper dilution.
