Ingredients
For 1 serving
- 3 oz baked pear juice
- 1.5 oz bourbon
- 0.5 oz honey syrup
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 strip lemon peel
- Hot water — 3 oz
Pinch of ground nutmeg
Garnish: baked pear slice

Tools Needed
- Small saucepan / kettle
- Jigger
- Heatproof mug
- Bar spoon

Instructions
1️⃣ Heat — 3 min
Heat the baked pear juice and cinnamon stick over low heat until warm but not boiling.
2️⃣ Build — 1 min
Pour into a heatproof cup, add bourbon and honey syrup.
3️⃣ Finish — 30 sec
Add hot water and stir gently.
Twist the lemon peel to release the aroma and sprinkle with a little nutmeg.
4️⃣ Garnish — 10 sec
Top with a slice of baked pear.

Tips & Notes
- Baked pear is more suitable for winter than raw pear, with a milder sweetness and a warmer taste.
- If you don't want too much alcohol, reduce the bourbon to 1 oz.
- For a more festive feel, add 1 clove or 1 drop of vanilla extract.
- If you have children and want to make a non-alcoholic drink, omit the bourbon and use hot pear juice with honey.
