Ingredients
1.5 oz gin
1 oz fresh lemon juice
0.75 oz honey syrup
4–5 fresh basil leaves
1 oz fresh tarragon syrup
2 oz soda water
Ice

Tools Needed
- Cocktail shaker
- Jigger
- Fine strainer
- Muddler
- Highball glass
- Bar spoon

Instructions
1️⃣ Muddle the herbs — 10 sec
Add fresh basil and tarragon syrup to the shaker.
Gently muddle to release the aromatics.
2️⃣ Shake — 12 sec
Add:
- gin
- lemon juice
- honey syrup
- ice
Shake vigorously until ice-cold.
3️⃣ Strain & pour — 5 sec
Strain into a glass filled with ice cubes.
4️⃣ Top & garnish — 5 sec
Add 2 oz soda water or 4 oz dry white wine for effervescence.
Garnish with a fresh basil sprig and a lemon wheel.

Tips & Notes
Tarragon syrup method: Simmer tarragon and sugar with water to create a distinctive herbal flavor.
For a crisper cocktail: Increase soda water proportion or add a few mint leaves.
To add floral notes: Stir in a splash of orange blossom water.
Adjust alcohol strength by varying gin quantity.
Non-alcoholic version: Omit gin, increase lemon juice and tarragon syrup, then top with sparkling water.
